Young Innovators Turn Classroom Project Into Sustainable School Uniform Success

I’m excited to share an inspiring story about two young innovators from Citizens School who turned a classroom project into a product that is now part of the school uniform and available for purchase online.

As part of Citizens’ Entrepreneurship Curriculum and Project-Based Learning (PBL) programme, Year 5 and 6 learners (ages 11-12) were asked to design their own sustainable t-shirts. This initiative led to two learners, Bers and Artem, creating a unique design that has now become an official part of the school uniform that is worn by a number of learners.

An Innovative Approach to Education
Citizens School is known for its innovative Citizens Future Framework, with a strong focus on entrepreneurship. From the age of three, learners are introduced to the Entrepreneurship Curriculum, instilling entrepreneurial skills like risk taking and critical thinking at a young age. This project exemplifies how Citizens empowers and supports their learners to turn their ideas into reality.

I’d love to share more details about this project and the incredible journey of Bers and Artem. I can arrange interviews with Bers and Artem, their mentors, or our founder, Dr. Adil Alzarooni, the visionary founder of Citizens School who can share the concept of the school and its innovative curriculum, as well as providing insights around this initiative.

You can find images at this link and you can view the t-shirt which is currently selling online here.
