Cuba has some of the most inviting and luxurious beaches along its tropical shores. With inviting golden sand, palm trees swaying in the wind, warm turquoise waters and a very relaxed atmosphere, the beaches here are relaxation havens. Playa Los Flamencos, Playa Pilar, Varadero and Playa Ancón are just a few of the beaches that you will want to visit on a vacation to Cuba.
Topes de Collantes
A spectacular nature reserve in the Escambray Mountain Range, Topes de Collantes is quite the sight to behold with dramatic caves, waterfalls and rivers, as well as all kinds of colourful and unique flora. Be sure to pack a camera!
Viñales National Park
Perhaps the most popular nature destination on the island, Viñales National Park features amazing limestone rock formations (mogotes) that rise high into the air above the surrounding tobacco and banana farms. It is also known for its striking rust-red soil, which contrasts heavily against the verdant vegetation. Tourists come here to enjoy the scenery, go on bird watching tours, go rock climbing and explore the enchanting caves.
Las Terrazas
Las Terrazas is a scenic nature reserve nestled in the Sierra del Rosario mountains and was designated a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1984. It has stunning natural surroundings that can be explored by rewarding hikes where you can visit the different waterfalls and look out for different species of birds.
