The Green Planet has welcomed a whole new generation of little creatures from sugar gliders to snakes.
Animals are adorable, newborn animals even more so and, having just enjoyed a baby boom, Dubai‘s indoor biodome is all about the cuteness overload.
Through a series of programmes that have been in place since the tropical forest opened three years ago, The Green Planet Dubai has welcomed various litters – from the tiniest insects to some of the largest breeds of snakes – through successful conservation and education focused breeding of some of the rarest and most endangered species.
The latest additions to the Green Planet family include crested and new caledonian geckos, carpet and ball pythons, panther chameleons, bearded dragons, bats, hedgehogs and, perhaps the cutest of them all, baby sugar gliders.
Best of all, you can get up close and personal with the mini newbies every day at 1.30pm when a biologist presentation will introduce the biodome’s little ones to your little ones while explaining the importance of breeding in captivity.
