A high-level delegation led by MałgorzataGolińska, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Climate and Environment in Poland, visited The Sustainable City (TSC) Dubai, the Middle East’s first fully operational sustainable community. The delegation of 15 top-government officials from the Republic of Poland, was welcomed by Eng. Faris Saeed, Chairman & CEO of SEE Holding, Salah Habib, CEO of Diamond Developers and senior executives from Diamond Developers.
Following the introduction to the unique concept of TSC and its environment-friendly working model, the delegation was guided around the development, learning how some of the city’s most innovative sustainable solutions are working. The group visited the residential clusters, the farm and the biodomes, the plaza, and SEE Institute – The region’s first net zero carbon building.
The ministerial delegation praised the commitment of The Sustainable City, laying the foundation for futuristic sustainable development and spearheading the way toward net-zero living, and commended TSC’s efforts for seamlessly blending the highest environmental sustainability standards through an integrated and socially inclusive approach while leading sustainable development in the region. They also discussed ways to foster sustainability, raise environmental awareness and accelerate the actions against climate change.
