In the presence of HE Reem Al Hashimi, Minister of State for the International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates and Director General of EXPO 2020 Dubai, HE Mr. Pierre Dartout, Minister of State of the Principality of Monaco and Mr. Albert Croesi, General Commissioner of the Monegasque Pavilion started up the solar panels of Monaco Pavilion.
From now on, the electricity produced by these solar panels will supply the Dubai electricity network. This electricity generated between March 2021 and March 2022 will be given back to Monaco Pavilion during the 6 months of its operation in order to offset its consumption.

The use of solar panels at Monaco Pavilion confirms the commitment of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II to the protection of the environment.
