GOSHOPIA, Dubai’s first-ever sustainable fashion e-marketplace platform aims to revolutionize the country’s fashion scene by introducing environmental-friendly and socially sustainable fashion products that highlight the importance of making environmentally and ethically conscious purchases rather than trend-driven ones, co-organizes The Green Room at Colab, Dubai’s first-ever sustainable and ethical pop-up in partnership with Fashion Forward Dubai and will be available for public from 30th October to 2nd November which will see several programs of talks, workshops, daily styling sessions, a live Podcast and panel discussions, all aimed at promoting sustainable and ethical practices in the fashion industry.

GOSHOPIA, one of the pioneers in promoting sustainable fashion and lifestyle in Dubai, will play a big role during the 4-day event. On Wednesday, 30th October 2019, Araceli Gallego, CEO and Founder of GOSHOPIA, will have a Live Podcast from 4 PM where she will be asked by Mama Earth´s Mariska Neil on how ethical and sustainable fashion can be a reality.

On Friday, November 1, 2019, Araceli Gallego will be the moderator of the Panel Discussion at 1 PM where she will be interviewing brands and companies about their journey in venturing to the sustainable fashion business.

Lastly, on Saturday, November 2, 2019, Araceli Gallego will be part of another Panel Discussion at 4 PM where she will be one of the panelists tackling issues about circularity and sustainability in fashion.

For Araceli: “Sustainability will be the next major battlefield where fashion brands will compete for customers’ attention and loyalty. Unfortunately, so far, the fashion industry is not providing enough sustainable choices for a wiser and more conscious consumer that knows the power of her decisions and wants to protect the environment while being stylish.”

Goshopia is curating a broad range of styles and prices of slow, sustainable and socially responsible fashion designers and brands. The idea is to facilitate the conscious consumer when looking for clothes and accessories that have a lower footprint.
