As 70,000 international delegates, including heads of state and world leaders, converge in Dubai for COP28 to unite around tangible climate action, SEE Institute announces its participation in this globally significant event. Committed to inspiring change through sustainability education, research and business incubation and building a net zero emissions future, SEE Institute will host a range of workshops and exhibitions, two climate talk series, and an immersive educational movie, dedicated to inspiring younger minds.

 

SEED Immersive Experience.

In collaboration with theUAE’s Ministry of Education, SEE Institute will unveil SEED, an immersive educational experience screened in a customised digital arena. The animation encourages younger audiences to make responsible decisions about six elements of sustainability: food, energy, water, products, mobility, and waste.

Sustainable Waste Management Workshop.

In partnership with the UAE’s Ministry of Education and SEE Holding,this workshop encourages strategies for a cleaner tomorrow and is led by SEE Holding’s waste management arm, Tadweer. It is free entry for all, with no prior registration needed.

Bridging the Gap Between Management & Sustainability.

This bespoke workshop, tailored for senior management atLONGI, a leading supplier of solar PV solutions, delivers practical and theoretical knowledgein the areas of sustainability and renewable energy.

Climate Talk Series: Climate Actions in the Built Environment.

Bringing together leading voices in the field, this series of panels and talks evaluates challenges and promotes sustainability solutions in the built environment. The Climate Talk Series is brought to life in partnership with UN Habitat and the Supreme Council of Energy.

Saving Our Planet One Creative Project at a Time.

Joining forces with the change-makers of tomorrow, SEE Institute are hosting an exhibition of sustainability-inspired art and design pieces by students from the College of Fine Arts and Design at the University of Sharjah. In addition, a series of short films directed and produced by students will be screened with the aim to highlight the importance of the collective effort to achieve a greener future.
