Local and international companies participating at the 3rd Dubai Solar Show, organised by DEWA in conjunction with the 20th Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX 2018) at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC), are showcasing the latest solar technologies and solutions, to meet the challenges facing the solar sector such as reducing energy costs, smart lighting techniques, and other research technologies that serve the water and energy sector.
Dubai Municipality
At its stand, Dubai Municipality is highlighting its ‘Strategic Tunnel for Sewage’ initiative. The project aims to reduce the excess capacity of wastewater and meet expected increases in wastewater from new development areas and population growth by providing environmentally friendly solutions at the lowest level of carbon emissions.
Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman
Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman is highlighting its drone for smart environmental inspections across the marine environment. The drone is equipped with a high-resolution thermal camera to depict and display oil spots areas, protected areas and can detect damaged areas. The drone measures polluting gases that include volatile chemicals, carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide gas.
ENOC Group
The ENOC Group has announced its first solar lubricants and grease manufacturing plant in the UAE. More than 300 photovoltaic (PV) panels have been installed on the roof of its 1,000 square metre warehouse, generating over 160,000 kwh/year of electricity and sufficient to meet the annual electricity consumption of the unit. Excess electricity will be transmitted back to the DEWA grid.
APAT Technologies (APAT)
APAT Technologies (APAT), a Canadian provider of Internet-of-Things (IoT), smart buildings and remote asset management solutions under the banner of Ontario Clean Tech Mission, is showcasing highly available and scalable DCS, EMS, BMS and SCADA systems as well as an Internet of Complex Things (IoCT) platform, which serve in building, energy, manufacturing, oil, gas and water sectors.
Clear Blue Technologies International
Clear Blue Technologies International, the Smart Off-Grid company providing low-cost, centrally managed, solar/wind/hybrid power for streetlights, telecom systems and security systems, is showcasing its Smart Off-Grid technology, remote management services and Illumience smart off-grid software. This software enables all the systems to be managed, controlled, and proactively serviced over the internet.

The French company is showcasing its Soft GSS Light with microwave sensing technology during their presence at the show.
Hansa Energy Solutions
Hansa Energy Solutions, an energy services company, is highlighting the benefits of its lighting, HVAC, solar and water retrofitting services and energy efficient automation at the Dubai Solar Show 2018.
Fibracast
Fibracast, a developer of advanced membrane technologies for municipal and industrial waste water treatment including MBR and tertiary applications, is highlighting its patented hybrid FibrePlate membrane technology.

Survalent, a provider of advanced distribution management systems (ADMS) for electric, water, wastewater, gas and transit utilities, is highlighting ‘StationCentral,’ the company’s comprehensive substation automation solution at Dubai Solar Show 2018.

i-energy, a manufacturer of integrated energy solutions, is showcasing mounting systems for solar technology, including ground mount, pitched roof and flat roof mounting systems. The company is also displaying Flextron, a ‘peel & stick’ module supplied with rear mounted MC4 connectors.

Suparule Systems Ltd
Suparule Systems is showcasing Sensorform EFI-MFZ-50. Sensorform EFI-MFZ-50 is part of a family of Earth Fault Indicator products, which have been designed to assist in the rapid location and isolation of faults on high voltage networks (1-36kV) in single-sided feed or open ring main systems. When an asymmetrical current greater than 50A in a 3-phase cable is detected, an earth fault is indicated by means of a mechanical flag indicator.
