Etihad Energy Services Company (ESCO) has been awarded the CSR Award at the 10th Arabia CSR Award Ceremony which took place at the J W Marriott Marquis Hotel, in Dubai. The company, who participated for the first time to the Arabia CSR Awards, was announced as winner in the ‘Small Enterprise’ category for its outstanding efforts in enhancing energy and water efficiency, solar PV, awareness and capacity building.
As an organisation, Etihad ESCO has made a huge impact on the market for energy efficiency and sustainability, which have attracted participation from many international companies. Reports shared from the company indicate that a total of 21 companies have received accreditation to work with ESCO and many others are in the process of obtaining this accreditation.

“While the award is a great recognition for ‘Etihad Esco’ efforts, results and impact in improvement and development of energy consumption market , it will also serve as a remarkable support for countries that are considering implementation of the ‘super ESCO’ model to boost their sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives,” added Ali Al Jassim.
Through the medium of this award, Etihad ESCO aims to set a new standard for the ESCO market and encourage the accredited ESCOs in Dubai and other companies worldwide to consider CSR as part of their ESCO proposals and day to day operations.
