The Environment and Protected Areas Authority in Sharjah (EPAA) announced the organization of the “Arabian Leopard Conservation Strategy” conference in October 2024.
Enhancing Sharjah’s efforts to increase wild animal populations
Her Excellency Hana Saif Al Suwaidi, Chairperson of the Environment and Protected Areas Authority in Sharjah, stated that the conference is an important event within the EPAA’s roles and initiatives in protecting and increasing the populations of wild animals. It aligns with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to continue adopting and launching initiatives aimed at protecting wildlife and biodiversity in the Emirate of Sharjah.
