The digital transformation of the Middle East’s energy and facilities management across industry verticals will continue driving the market to record-high business volumes in the medium term, the newly appointed CEO of Middle East facilities management leader Enova announced today.

Big Data analytics is helping to enhance energy efficiency across Smart Cities and mega-events, entertainment, healthcare, hospitality, and transportation. With real-time insights, organizations can monitor their utilities usage, optimize based on time or usage, and support predictive maintenance.

With ambitious growth plans, Enova has appointed Renaud Capris as the new CEO of its regional operations. Renaud Capris takes over from Anne Le Guennec, who moves to Director General of Recycling and Waste Recovery at Veolia France.

“From mega-events to new rail lines and luxury hospitality projects, the Middle East’s built environment presents strong opportunities for our building energy services offer,” says Renaud Capris, CEO, Enova. “I’m eager to advance Enova’s strategy, ensuring that we foster our customer-centric approach and expand our partner ecosystem, by continuously developing our people, processes, and tools.”

Enova’s new CEO brings more than three decades of industry expertise to the role.  Prior to Enova, Renaud Capris has worked across Veolia’s energy business, most recently as CEO of Italian energy service company Siram, where he drove energy efficiency across multiple industries. In the Middle East, Renaud Capris will support adoption of Hubgrade 4.0, Enova’s dedicated energy and performance space for its energy, technical, and performance solutions.

A French national, Renaud Capris holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from the Ecole Spéciale de Mécanique et d’Electricité (ESME Sudria) in Paris, France.
