Tree Inspections & Surveys
Plants are dynamic structures that continually grow and change to adapt to environmental conditions. Thus it is important that people take suitable actions to maintain their safety. Landowners and managers have a Duty of Care to take reasonable care under the Occupiers Liability Acts 1957 and 1984 to make sure that plants situated on their land remain in a safe condition. Arbtech Arboriculture can conduct a variety of surveys to fulfil this obligation. The frequency and detail of a tree survey can vary from a simple to a comprehensive tree survey. Surveys are exclusively designed to meet specific requirements of each client.
Aerial Tree Inspections
In general all of tree inspection work by Arbtech is undertaken from ground level, but where required, a detailed aerial inspection can be conducted. This type of assessment is undertaken where there are large wounds, splits or cavities associated with trees or where decay or decay causing organisms have been identified. This should only be done after the initial ground level survey.
Internal Decay Detection
In addition to the initial external assessment of a tree, if there is internal decay or decay causing organisms identified, it is necessary to conduct an advanced internal examination. This will evaluate the extent of decay and provide information in order to ease the decision making process.
