Samsung Gulf Electronics today announced its expansion plans into 18 new Samsung Authorized Service Centers, including three in the UAE; three in Qatar; and six for each of Oman and Kuwait as part of the brand’s Recycling Program and broader ESG initiatives. Samsung is partnering with Enviroserve to reduce the impact on environment by promoting the culture of recycling, inciting customers to bring their unused and/or old phones for recycling instead rather than placing them in landfill sites with hazardous materials.

As part of its ESG initiatives, Samsung continues to expand its recycling program into more locations. On this year’s Earth Day and for the second consecutive year, the brand is announcing new Authorized Service Centers for it recycling program across the region.

“Earth Day reaffirms Samsung’s commitment to sustainability and symbolizes a token to our effort to raise awareness for meaningful impact. I wish to thank our service partners who are engaged and actively participating in Samsung ESG initiatives, also special thanks toEnviroserve, whose expertise in recycling enables our ambitions to come to life,” said Kiran Tewari, Director of Customer Service, Samsung Gulf Electronics.

Customers can visit any of Samsung Authorized Service Centers in the UAE, Oman, Kuwait and Qatar and benefit from a recycling service, simply by scanning the QR code available on the collection boxes, filling up customer details and dropping the phone inside the box.

In return, customers will receive a discount voucher as reward for their participation in Samsung’s ambitious ESG program, to be redeemable in an all-new purchase with value up to AED 300, QR 300, OMR 30, KWD 25 respectively.
