Motoring enthusiasts and automotive industry leaders have gathered in Manila for the first ASEAN Electric Vehicle and Hybrid Summit.
The biggest names in electric vehicles showcase their products at the summit. The event attracts over 600 participants led by electric and hybrid vehicle industry players, government officials, technical leaders and executives from global technology companies.
There are also around 13 local manufacturers of e-vehicles and charging technologies, showcasing their products.
Battery-powered tri-cycles, hybrid sedans and SUVs with low carbon emissions are on show.
Car manufacturers, battery producers, and government officials also discuss how the region can cope with the global shift from diesel and gasoline to electric vehicles.
