The Regulatory and Supervisory Bureau (RSB) for Electricity and Water in Dubai was recently given a mandate to increase energy efficiency by 30% by the year 2030. As a step towards this initiative, the RSB has since come up with an Energy Audit Firm Accreditation scheme intended to ensure a minimum level of competency among energy auditing companies and the audit staff they employ.
Star Property Inspection, one of the leading inspection companies in Dubai, was recently awarded accreditation for Energy Audits by the RSB. On receiving the accreditation news, the Managing Director of STAR, Mr. James Allen Gantt expressed his delight at the recent achievement adding that following the directive given to the RSB, many entities have been fumbling to find ways to reduce their building’s energy consumption.
Expressing his opinion regarding RSB’s mandate Mr. Gantt stated, “Energy consumption has been a growing concern all over the world particularly in developed countries across all industry sectors. This is not only because of its impact on costs but also because of the considerable impact it has on environmental sustainability.”
“We are here to help all organizations and essentially the owners of any building that consumes energy and water to find opportunities to reduce their consumption and increase cost saving. Using energy wisely helps reduce the demand for power which is not only good for the environment, but it’s also good for your health and your pocket!”
Since its inception, STAR has managed to secure their position as the market leader in the property inspection industry through the use of cutting-edge technology and internationally qualified, accredited and experienced professionals with combined experience of over three decades acquired across North America and the Gulf Countries.
