Arabia CSR Network, the Middle East region’s leading training service provider and think tank, has announced that it is rolling out the 3rd comprehensive training course this year on the new Global Reporting Standards GRI Standards, the world’s first global standards for sustainability reporting.

The three-day training will take place in September from the 26th to 28th 2017. It will focus on the latest updates in sustainability reporting to help organisations across the region better understand and communicate their impact on crucial sustainability issues.

The accredited course content will be delivered through lectures, discussions, exercises, and case studies. ACSRN professional trainers will lead the extensive and free-flowing discussions on the new GRI Standards to help participants begin their reporting process using the latest criteria. A certificate will be issued to the attendees upon successful course completion from the Headquarters of GRI in Amsterdam.

Habiba Al Marashi, President & CEO, Arabia CSR Network, said: “This immense value-added training is specifically designed for writing teams, sustainability professionals, consultants, and researchers, among others, who can take the lead in the adoption of the latest globally recognised GRI framework for sustainability reporting. Participating in the training course is a major step for institutions, ensuring that their non-financial performance or sustainability reports are aligned with the standards recognised by the international community. As such, it gives their reports a higher degree of credibility and integrity.”

Arabia CSR Network is GRI’s Certified Training Partner in the UAE, with its President and CEO being an active member of the GRI Stakeholder Council.
