The Festival at Masdar City concluded in the UAE capital after fulfilling its promise of immense edutainment.
The event, which wrapped up the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, was dedicated to raising community awareness of sustainability, and brought in crowds with food trucks, live entertainment, and educational games and activities.
The different Experience Zones included a Souk selling local and organic produce as well as an innovation hub filled with high-tech gadgets. TheGreenEcostore.com was also one of the exhibitors selling eco-friendly products.
In honour of the legacy of the UAE’s founding father there was the Sheikh Zayed Corner to celebrate 2018 as the Year of Zayed.
The carnival atmosphere filled the Masdar City podium, while much food, games and activities were offered down at the newly renovated Masdar Park, including fitness workouts and a virtual reality experience.
