Globally recognized sustainability educator, Mr. Stephen Ritz is set to host an inspiring talk on student health, wellness and learning at the Fairgreen Open Day taking place on 3 March 2018 from 10am at The Visitor Centre in The Sustainable City.

During the ‘Growing Something Great’ talk Mr. Stephen Ritz will share his inspirational journey and mission to motivate and teach children about making healthy choices and living sustainably. Visitors will also get a chance to learn about service learning at Fairgreen via the award-winning Million Solar Stars programme, celebrated by Ms. Jane Goodall’s Roots&Shoots. The on-site bio-dome will be open for tours, and guests will be able to meet Esol Education Chief Education Consultant Mr. Peter Daly, Fairgreen Curriculum Coordinator Ms. Samantha Fern, and the Fairgreen admissions team, all of whom will be on hand to answer questions about the school and its academic programme.

Renowned as "America’s favourite teacher,” Stephen is a South Bronx educator, author of “The Power of a Plant” and founder of the Green Bronx Machine, a non-profit US organization that builds healthy, equitable, and resilient communities through inspired education, local food systems, and 21st Century workforce development. Parents and children can also listen to him speak at the prestigious Emirates Airline Festival of Literature on Friday and Saturday, March 2 and 3.
